In June 2009, Mercy Clinics opened a two-story, 21,000-square-foot addition to Mercy East, which is located at 5900 E. University Avenue in Pleasant Hill. The facility, which has been at its current location since 2005, is currently home to Mercy East Family Practice, Pediatrics and Urgent Care Clinic.
The expansion doubled the size of Mercy East and enabled additional services to be housed there—including physical therapy, The Iowa Orthopaedic Center, a Mercy ENT and an OB/Gyn physician.
