Perinatal Center of Iowa Medical Staff
Neil Mandsager, MD, FACOG
Dr. Mandsager started Perinatal Center of Iowa, LLC, in 1993. Born in Cameroon (a country located in west-central Africa), he was raised in Marshalltown, Iowa, and attended Wartburg College. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his OB-Gyn residency in Columbia, Mo., before spending four years in the U.S. Air Force. After that, Dr. Mandsager completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently board-certified in Obstetrics-Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Mandsager lives in Johnston with his wife and has five children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, taking photographs and watercolor painting. Dr. Mandsager is also a board member for ChildVoice International, an organization seeking to restore the voices of Ugandan children silenced by war.
